The multi-specialty Athens Surgery Center (ASC) is a modern ambulatory surgery center, where surgeons perform a variety of outpatient surgical procedures.

 

Opened in 2004 in the Castrop Center, the ASC offers convenient access and care for patients whose surgery can be performed without an overnight hospital stay. Surgical procedures available at the ASC include gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, and urology.
